HOW DOES IT WORK??
When I was a boy our very inspired Scoutmaster had the idea to find 201 people to pay a £1 every week for the chance to win a prize of £100. His idea was that only 201 people would be allowed to enter the draw so that all entrants had a better chance of winning. He called his idea THE 201 Club, and it meant that the scout troop had £101/week to finance its activities and we didn't have to go around collecting jumble any more. It worked very well - it only required people to collect the money and an independently adjudicated weekly draw.
I don't want £1 a week for this lottery , I only want the barest minimum payment of £1 a month from people who can be sure to have it available in their bank accounts every month. I don't want anyone to have to collect the money..a standing order from their bank account is more convenient for everyone! Nor do I want to have to organize an independently adjudicated (monthly) draw..so I want to use an already established independently adjudicated draw instead (the daily UK 49's Draw).
So far all the expense of setting up and maintaining this (www.worldpeace.org.uk) website has come out of my own pocket, and to be perfectly honest that pocket is frequently empty and has to struggle to pay. All I am looking to raise from this lottery is enough regular money to pay the computer and internet fees to be sure to keep it going on a continuous basis and promote it more extensively. For it I have worked out a lottery for a limited number of people, that can raise and allocate 6 x £100 prizes every month SO THAT EACH PLAYER HAS THE SAME 200/1 ODDS OF WINNING AS THE 201 CLUB and leave enough to cover these monthly expenses .
Here's how it works : The (twice) daily 49's draw picks seven numbers each draw from 1 - 49 One of these numbers is drawn as a BOOSTER BALL. We will use ONE DRAW EVERY MONTH (the same one) for our lottery. For each £1 a month play will be allocated two numbers from 1-49, to win a £100 prize one of the six regular numbers and the booster ball number must be these two numbers. That means six pairs of numbers have a chance of winning every month: any one of the regular numbers and the booster ball. There is a limited number of combinations of the numbers from 1- 49 that give a 196/1 chance of winning one of the prizes. By limiting the number of plays to this number of combinations everyone playing has this chance of winning every week - and there will be a guaranteed income to cover the cost of maintaining and promoting this website and its related concerns!
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO PLAY?
All you need is: 1) A UK bank account guaranteed to have a spare pound in it every month (so that you don't incur any bank charges)
2) A paypal account so that you can receive your winnings.(It only takes five minutes to open one-go to PAYPAL)
3) You will have to be over 18 yrs old

You will be sent back an email with your lottery numbers and the payment details to send to your bank. Make sure you use your paypal email address (or let us know it in the email) in order to receive prize money - It is as simple as that!
